Hello, hello, hello!!! I am having a wonderful day and I am sending out best wishes to all of my friends and family who are reading this blog today… If you are a follower of the Prime Immortal Series and have been reading this blog, then you will remember that last week I alluded to an event/contest that we would be announcing soon. Well, I believe that we are ready to make that announcement now! So for all of you wondering “What does she have up her sleeve now?” the answer is below.
I, along with the Prime Immortals staff, am happy to announce that we will be offering a $500 scholarship to one deserving student this summer.
That’s right folks, we will be giving away $500 to the best essay submitted by qualified contestants to be used for their continuing education.
In order to participate for a chance to win this scholarship you will need to submit an essay on the first book in the Prime Immortal series, “The Immortal Lost”. See complete rules on the website at http://www.primeimmortals.com/ under the “Contests” tab. Be sure to participate in the other contests listed as well.
This is a great opportunity for all of you young adults who are looking to the future and need a little help when the time comes for advancement in your education. So, get the book, read it and start writing. Here is a getting started guide…
Prime Immortal Essay Contest
- Immortal Lost is a sci-fi fantasy with dark twists and turns. It is an epic story of good vs evil, with a little romance to make for a terrific read. Enter into a world that shows individuality of characters and builds on the strength within each one. It really is a true testament to uniqueness.
- Read the book and choose an essay topic
- For 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders only (as of 4/1/11)
- Top Prize - $500
- Second Place - $75
- Third Place - $50
All right, now that you know the big news, make sure that you pass it on…. Tell everyone you know about the contest. And for all you parents and grandparents out there, make sure to inform the students in your lives. School can be expensive and this prize money will go a long way in getting the tools needed to continue their education.
