Word of the Day: Auspicious

Hey, everyone out there in the world of cyber space.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I was traveling and working, so I didn’t get much time for fun.  However, when you love your job as much as I do, there is something to be said about accomplishing it well; which, of course, I did this weekend.

To all my good friends and fans in Fort Wayne, Indiana, thank you so very much for your well wishes.  It is always nice to know that I have you great people behind me for support and I promise to make sure and use each and every one of your suggestions within my writing.

Today’s word of the day is coming from Jack W. in Northville, MI.  His word choice is auspicious.  Another wonderful word coming from a rather exceptional source at http://dictionary.reference.com

aus·pi·cious [aw-spish-uhs]
–adjective
1. promising success; propitious; opportune; favorable: an auspicious occasion.
2. favored by fortune; prosperous; fortunate.

After receiving this word from Jack, I wondered, does he believe that I am or will someday be auspicious?  Is it possible that is what he is thinking?  I do not know.  What I do know is that I may not be favored by fortune, yet I am completely and thoroughly prosperous and fortunate in friends, family and fans.  Again, thank you to all of my supporters and remember to keep up with the series and watch for the contests coming up in just a few short weeks.
Until next time… Read On!! H.R. Phillips
